Across the Universe is a collaborative project featuring artists Fran Gardner, Pat Zalisko and Cheryl Bogdanowitsch. The project will culminate in an exhibit for the Harris Gallery at the Art League of Daytona Beach in March 2010. Fran is a mixed media fiber artist; Pat is a painter; and Cheryl is a sculptor.
"a-cross the universe" - I like it!!! I'm familiar with the work of Pat Zalisko. No doubt in my mind, she's a painter's painter. She, skillfully, uses her medium to express her everchanging perceptions of that "universe" existing in her being. I would like to see how far your collaboration has progress ASAP.
Fran is a talented artist and teacher and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to follow this collaborative journey with her and Pat. The colors in the work thus far are strong with emotional expression.
